Inter increased their lead even more in the 52nd minute due to Lautaro Martinez's fierce play. The captain of the Nerazzurri made a sliding tackle on a ball that Gineitis had carelessly left in the penalty area. The Argentine's well-timed tackle enabled him to outpace Israel to the post, delivering a precise diagonal pass.
