Serie A Standing BEFORE the game: Juventus, 5th position with 3 points and a positive goal difference of +2 Genoa, 13th position with 1 point and a goal difference of "0" ✅   Genoa lost the Serie A Week 2 game on Sunday 31 August 2025 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genoa, Italy.    Juventus repeated their league debut victory and also won their first away game of the season against Genoa: 1-0. The match was decided by Dušan Vlahović, who is largely unsettled by the Bianconeri's future plans but already has two goals in two league games. The Serbian, coming off the bench, is making a crucial contribution to his team, despite the off-field situation. However, a narrow victory confirms Genoa are far from giving up.  The Rossoblu threatened Di Gregorio on several occasions, especially through Ellertsson. A thrilling finale for the Rossoblu, with Di Gregorio's miracle saves from Ekuban and Masini's header hitting the crossbar, preventing an equalizer. Stats before the game: Juventus have not lost in nine out of their last 10 Serie A matches under coach Igor Tudor, achieving 6 victories and 3 draws, and they have won their last three games. After netting a goal on his debut against Parma, Jonathan David has the chance to become just the third player to score in his first two Serie A matches for Juventus during the three-point-per-win era (which began in 1994/95), following in the footsteps of Randal Kolo Muani and Carlos Tevez. Francisco Conceicao scored his first Serie A goal against Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Juventus gained the upper hand in the 73rd minute. Serbian forward Dušan Vlahović netted a goal with a header directed to the bottom right corner. The assist came from Filip Kostic, who delivered a cross after a corner was conceded by Ruslan Malinovskyi. Here’s how it unfolded: Conceicao earned a corner. Koopmeiners took the kick, while Ellertsson was still receiving medical attention. The Dutchman sent a brilliant ball to Vlahović, who sprinted towards it and headed it into the far post. Wow, wow, wow... and just when it seemed Vlahović might leave the team, his recent performance is winning back the fans!
