Como with an important away victory in the Serie A Week 4 game on Sunday 21 September 2025 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy.  Fiorentina once again had to delay their opportunity for their first victory of the season.  Como turned the match around late in the game, winning 2-1 at the Franchi stadium. This marked a second home loss for Pioli's squad. The Viola's solid performance in the first half remained unchanged, as they took the lead just six minutes in with a brilliant goal from the edge of the area by Mandragora.

Fiorentina generated numerous chances in the first half, putting Fabregas's team under significant pressure. However, Como nearly had a golden chance to level the score late in the first half: the referee awarded a penalty after a collision in the box between Nicolussi Caviglia and Perrone. Yet, a VAR review overturned the referee's call, and the penalty was canceled. The Lombardy team came into the second half with a renewed mindset, while Fiorentina faltered.

Como equalized in the 65th minute with a header from Kempf. In the end, both teams appeared capable of winning, but Como utilized the available space more effectively. Nico Paz delivered a long pass to Addai, who scored a stunning goal, clinching three crucial points for Fabregas's side. After the match, the Fiorentina supporters voiced their discontent.
