Result Bologna - Lazio, Coppa Italia Quarterfinals, Wednesday 11 February 2026

🏆🇮🇹👉     What a disappointment for Bologna! Lazio triumphed at the Dall'Ara Stadium, winning the Coppa Italia Quarterfinals on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The match concluded with a score of 1-1, leading to a penalty shootout to determine the winner. After a perfect penalty shootout, with Lazio making no mistakes compared to Bologna's two misses, Lazio secured their place in the Coppa Italia semifinals. This victory sets up a two-legged tie against Atalanta as they aim for the final in Rome, while Bologna must exit after having won the title last season.

On the flip side, Lazio celebrated another impressive away performance and, more crucially, kept their dreams of winning a trophy alive this season, a feat they haven't achieved since the 2019 Super Cup.

Bologna's struggles continue. Following a concerning drop in league performance, they also left the Coppa Italia without breaking through the Dall'Ara barrier, where the Rossoblu have yet to secure a victory in 2026.

Both teams will now shift their focus back to league play: Italiano's squad will face Torino away, while Sarri's side will take on Atalanta at the Olimpico.

⚽️   Lazio levels the score in the 48th minute.  Tijjani Noslin finds the net from very close range with a right-footed shot to the center. The assist is credited to Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. A well-executed triangle play between Marusic and Dele-Bashiru allows the Nigerian to reach the byline, where he sets up Noslin perfectly, who then scores with his right foot from close range.

Stats BEFORE the game

Bologna has remained unbeaten in nine out of their 11 Coppa Italia matches against Lazio (W6 D3). However, one of those two losses occurred in their latest encounter in the tournament: a 1-0 defeat to the Biancocelesti on January 19, 2023, during the round of 16—marking the club's only clean sheet against the Bolognese in the domestic cup.

Bologna has triumphed in nine of their last 10 Coppa Italia matches (D1), winning all six of their most recent games—setting a record run for the Emilian club in the tournament. The last team to achieve seven consecutive Coppa Italia victories was Juventus, between 2017 and 2019.

Bologna is unbeaten in five of their last six matches against Lazio across all competitions (W3 D2), after suffering five losses in their previous seven encounters with the Biancocelesti (W2).

Bologna has not lost in any of their last six competitive matches at the Dall'Ara against Lazio (W4 D2) and has maintained a clean sheet in their last five. This already marks a record streak for Bologna against the Biancocelesti in all competitions; only against Triestina (seven between 1936 and 1941) have they had a longer streak of home games without conceding.

Bologna has won their last two matches at the Dall'Ara against Lazio (both in the league) and could achieve at least three consecutive home victories against the Biancocelesti in all competitions for the first time since 1979 and 1988 (seven in that case).
Bologna vs Lazio Match Officials

Referee Daniele Chiffi from the Padua section will oversee the match. He will be supported by assistants Marcello Rossi from Biella and Marco Ceccon from Lovere. Livio Marinelli from Tivoli will serve as the fourth official. Daniele Paterna from Teramo and Giacomo Paganessi from Bergamo have been assigned as the VAR and AVAR officials.

This will mark the 14th encounter between Chiffi and the Biancocelesti, and the second this season: 8 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses. In their previous 10 meetings with Bologna, Chiffi has recorded 3 wins, 4 draws (including one victory on penalties), and an equal number of losses.
