Gian Piero Ventura will be officially presented to the media in the Aula Magna room at the National Training Centre in Coverciano. Before the new manager’s press conference alongside FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio, the President’s Committee will meet at the Football Museum in Coverciano followed by a Federal Council meeting at 11:30.   Gian Piero Ventura’s first game in the Italy dugout will be a friendly against France on Thursday 1st September in Bari (ko 21:00). That will be followed by his first competitive match four days later in Israel as the qualifying campaign starts for the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.
