🇮🇹   Italy is ready for the rebuild after being eliminated from the World Cup for the second consecutive time.  Italy win the international friendly game defeating Turkey on Tuesday 29 March 2022 at the Buyuksehir di Konya Stadium.  Italy took home an important victory for the morale of the team and fans but unfortunately useless for the purposes of accessing the next World Cup. The road for the 2026 World Cup is long but this win is a good start.

Not a good start for the Italian team. Turkey opened the score in the 4th minute. It is Cengiz Ünder to defeat Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Enes Ünal.

Italy equalized for the 1-1 in the 35th minute. It is Bryan Cristante to defeat Turkey goalkeeper Altay Bayindir with a headed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Cristiano Biraghi.

The Italian team took the lead before ending the first half in the 39th minute. It is Giacomo Raspadori to take care of business with a left-footed shot to the center. The assist is by Sandro Tonali.
