Azzurri continue to prepare for Germany clash; separate training for Candreva and De Rossi

Antonio Conte’s team held a training session behind closed doors at the Bernard Gasset sports centre in Montpellier this morning ahead of their Euro 2016 quarter-final against Germany. The match is due to take place on 2nd July at 21:00 CEST at the Stade de Bordeaux and Hungary’s Viktor Kassai has been appointed to referee the match. Antonio Candreva and Daniele De Rossi had separate training because they are still on the road to recovery from injuries suffered against Sweden and Spain respectively.

The Azzurri will conduct a further training session in Montpellier tomorrow at 11:00 CEST before heading to Bordeaux, where they will inspect the pitch at 19:00. Antonio Conte and Gianluigi Buffon will address the media in the pre-match press conference at 19:15.

Italy’s schedule

Friday, 1st July
11:00 –  Training session in Montpellier (open to media for the first 15’)
19.00 –  Pitch inspection at the Stade de Bordeaux
19.15 –  Press conference with head coach Antonio Conte and Gigi Buffon

Germany’s schedule
11:00 –  Training session in Evian-les-Bains (open to media for the first 15’)
19:45 –  Press conference with Germany head coach Joachim Löw and one player at the Stade de Bordeaux
