TRAINING COURSE FOR MILAN SOCCER SCHOOL COACHES

The course was an opportunity to learn, explore and test the coaching principles of the "integrated approach" which is carried out by the Milan Academy, with all the coaches then expected to apply these principals in their respective Soccer Schools. Great attention was also given by the course leaders in the importance of football as a way of conveying important life values and the recognition of the fundamental role of the coach as an example and the combination of all the components that make up the "Soccer School World": kids, coaches, parents, leaders and staff. There was also a very important collaboration with the Cattolica Sacro Cuore University, who collected data during a previous meeting regarding personal profiles as well as technical and professional skills of the coaches. During the course a host of important speakers also took part: Gianfranco Parma (Head Technical Coach for the Milan Academy), Antonello Bolis (Pedagogical Manager for the Milan Academy), David Corti (Technical Instructor for the Milan Academy ), Caterina Gozzoli (Cattolica Sacro Cuore University). At this moment in time, Milan have 102 Soccer Schools, which includes 86 in Italy and 16 abroad.
