“We tried but going behind in a derby away from home created a tricky atmosphere and we weren’t able to react. But, as I’ve said, we’re ahead, and now we need to work to beat Lazio and Chievo.

“We were disappointed in the dressing room, that’s always the case for everyone when you lose the derby. It’s grim for all Inter fans.

“It was a tight match like the first one this season. That day the moment went our way, tonight it went for them. They hit the bar through Kak� but apart from that it was a bad game.”
