“I’m disappointed that certain rumours have come out, particularly for Thohir who’s a good person just working for the good of Inter: I can assure you that there has been no friction between us.

“I wonder how and where these rumours come about, and I can only think they do because people aren’t seeing nor hearing as much from me as before.

“This is how I operate: I’m not an invasive person and to me it would be like someone deciding to sell their house and then is always sat there in the living room. This doesn’t mean my dealings with Thohir have been cold, nor that there’s been friction between us. In fact, the opposite is true.”
