The Coach Of The Month award for December has been assigned to Inter coach Simone Inzaghi. The trophy will be presented during the pre-match of Serie A Week 21 game Inter vs Lazio on Sunday 9th January 2022 at 20:45 at the “Giuseppe Meazza” stadium in Milan. By the way, Inter up to Week 20 are the sole leaders of the Serie A with 46 points.
As reported by Lega Serie A, the award was assigned by a jury of Directors of sports media who evaluated each coach on the basis of technical and sporting criteria and the quality of play of their teams, as well as their behaviour/fair play during matches.
For the final calculation were considered the matchdays from 15th to 19th of Serie A TIM 2021/2022.
“Simone Inzaghi’s month of December was simply perfect. His signature on Inter is clear: five wins in as many games, 15 goals scored and none conceded are the result of the excellent management of the group and the unpredictable and spectacular play that Inzaghi has been able to give the Nerazzurri, guiding them to finish first in the first half of Serie A TIM”. said Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Lega Serie A.
