Lazio official website announcing the sacking of coach Stefano Pioli on Sunday 3 April 2016. Pioli was sacked after losing the Derby della Capitale at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium ending Lazio 1 – 4 AS Roma. The new coach is Simone Inzaghi who served as coach of Lazio Youth team.
Up to Serie A Week 31, Lazio are in the 8th position with 42 points and a negative goal difference of -3. Lazio winning 11 games, 9 draws and losing 11.
