PITTSBURGH – The second Milan training session of the day took place with the stadium open to the public. Around 500 Rossoneri fans from all over the world made their way to Heinz Field to witness their idols at work. The team commenced with a warm-up that focused on running and leg work.
Once the phase was over, the coach organised a series of practice matches. The first was played with the hands and not feet with the rule that goals could be scored only through first-time volleys. The second game was 11 versus 11 with goalkeepers in only one half of the pitch.
The session’s final exercise was crossing and shooting practice.
As for individual players: Zapata was put through his paces with an intense athletic work-out; Menez did ball work mixed with running.
Only one session is scheduled for tomorrow, in the afternoon.
