MILAN – As reported by Atalanta’s official website, atalanta.it, the nerazzurri will train today behind closed doors. Atalanta are Milan’s next opponents in Serie A and will play the rossoneri on Monday the 6th of January at 15.00.

MILAN – The draw for the 8 groups for the Viareggio Cup will take place today at 11.00. Milan, along with Juventus, Inter and Fiorentina, will take part in the Viareggio Cup from the last-16 of the competition.

MILAN – The Rossoneri recommence preparations today at the Milanello sports centre ahead of Milan-Atalanta at the San Siro on the 6th of January at 15.00.The squad were supposed to play a friendly match today against Solbiasommese but that has been cancelled. Instead the players will take part in an afternoon training session at 14.30.

MILAN – Former Rossonero Mario Yepes was speaking to the official Atalanta website yesterday, Atalanta.it, ahead of Milan-Atalanta on the 6th of January at the San Siro. Here is what he had to say:“We know that playing against Milan is never easy for anybody, especially at their ground, but we’ve shown this year we can hold our own against the top teams and therefore we go to Milan to give our best and take advantage of the opportunities which are presented to us. Unfortunately an injury has kept me out for a long time, but I’m better now. I’m available for selection and I hope to give my contribution soon and help the side get as many points as possible.”
