Napoli rocking time being the only team winning the first 7 games of the season having a perfect score of 21 points keeping the first position.  Fiorentina failing to win the Serie A Week 7 game on Sunday 3 October 2021 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy.   An upset for Fiorentina because they were leading and then the home victory  “puff”  just collapsed with Napoli making a comeback.

AC Milan passing a tough test in Bergamo.   Atalanta almost win the Serie A Week 7 scaring AC Milan in the last 10 minutes at the Gewiss Stadium.  AC Milan with a wide lead of 3-0 then Atalanta waking up in the 86th minute and 94th minute to score 2 goals and almost grabbing a draw.   The sign of relief for AC Milan who were pursuing the victory to keep up the neck to neck race with Napoli in the 1st position with 21 points and Milan with 19 points.  The victory seeing AC Milan equaling  their best start in the era of three points per win in their first seven Serie A games: 19 in 2003/04.

Mission accomplished! Salernitana winning the Serie A Week 7 game defeating Genoa  at the Arechi Stadium.  This is a historical victory for Salernitana because it is their first victory in Serie A after their promotion from Serie B this season. Salernitana delighting their fans claiming full 3 points to climb from the last position of the Standing to the 19th position reaching 4 points.

Torino collapsing in the end losing the Derby della Mole.  Juventus claiming the victory winning  the Serie A Week 7 at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium. This is a precious win for Juventus who have lost only one of their last 30 Serie A matches against Torino (1-2 in April 2015, with Allegri on the bench): 22 wins and seven draws complete the set.

AS Roma win the Serie A Week 7 game against Empoli at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.  Roma have not lost against Empoli in Serie A since February 2007 (0-1 at Castellani): since then seven Giallorossi successes and three draws in 10 total matches.  Roma have won their last five Serie A home games and have not achieved six consecutive domestic league successes since February 2017, with Luciano Spalletti on the bench (15 in that case).  The home victory giving Mourinho another record for most  unbeaten  42 consecutive home Serie A games: establishing the record for a manager in the three points per win era (since 1994/95) in the Serie A.

Sassuolo failing to win the Serie A Week 7 game defeated by Inter at the Mapei Stadium.  This is a precious victory for Inter keeping up the race for the Scudetto reaching 17 points.  There have only been two draws in the 16 Serie A matches between Sassuolo and Inter (0-0 in 2019 and 3-3 in 2020) – seven wins on each side rounding off the record.

Cagliari celebrating the 60th Birthday of Coach Walter Mazzarri with a bitter note.  Cagliari after leading the game, ended up the Serie A Week 7 game against Venezia with a late draw  at the Unipol Domus.  Cagliari scored in the 16th minute and the victory was almost a reality until the 91st minute when Venezia changed the script grabbing a golden point with the goal by Italian-American footballer Gianluca Busio.  This the second consecutive draw for Venezia  staying at +2 above Cagliari.

What a perfect way for Bologna to celebrate their 112th Birthday than by winning the Serie A Week 7 game against Lazio at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.  The victory helps Bologna reach 11 points same as Lazio.  On the other hand, the defeat is a step back for Lazio to be among the top 5 positions.  Bologna FC, founded on 3 October in 1909 having 7 titles, “I Rossoblu” are the joint 5th most successful club in Serie A history.

Hellas Verona win in grand style the Serie A Week 7 game crushing Spezia on Sunday 3 October 2021 at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.  For Spezia, this is a painful defeat because they remain in the relegation zone.   Verona have won now six  of the last eight games played against Spezia between Serie A and Serie B (1d, 1 lost), including the first leg of last season.
