Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Atalanta, 7th position with 48 points and a positive goal difference of +19
Bologna, 12h position with 33 points and a negative goal difference of -11

Bologna lost the Serie A Week 30 game defeated by Atalanta on Sunday 20 March 2022 at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium in Bologna, Italy.  Atalanta grabbed all 3 points thanks to the goal by debutant Moustapha Cissé, 18-years-old, who started as a substitute. Atalanta reached 51 points and hook Roma in 5th place, with a game to recover. Bologna stopped at 33 points. In the next round, Atalanta will host Napoli and Bologna will face AC Milan in San Siro.

Atalanta broke their stat previoulsy have not scored in three Serie A away games and have not reached four in a row in the league since November 2015 (under Edoardo Reja management); more generally, Atalanta and Bologna have not found the goal in five Serie A matches since the beginning of 2022: only Genoa counts more (seven) in the period.

Atalanta opened the score in the 82nd minute. A precious goal not only for the team, but also for Moustapha Cissé, 18-years-old, giving this lead. Moustappha defeated Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski with a left-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Mario Pasalic.

✅   Stats before the game.  Atalanta have lost only one of their last 12 Serie A matches against Bologna (1-2, on 15 December 2019, thanks to goals from Palacio and Poli) – nine wins and two draws complete the set, which arrived in the three most recent.
Bologna have not found the goal in their last two Serie A matches against Atalanta and only once in the competition have the rossoblù recorded a longer streak without goals against the Goddess: four between 1973 and 1978.  The balance in the last three matches at Dall’Ara between Bologna and Atalanta is in balance with one win for each side and a draw; the rossoblù have found the goal in each of these games and do not put a longer series at home against the Goddess than that of nine consecutive matches between the 60s and 70s.
Bologna is back from two consecutive games in which they did not find the goal in Serie A (v Torino and Fiorentina); the rossoblù have not recorded three in a row without goals in the competition since December 2018, when Filippo Inzaghi was at the helm of the club.

👉 Lineup BOLOGNA (3-4-1-2): Skorupski; Soumaoro, Medel, Theate; De Silvestri, Schouten, Svanberg, Hickey; Soriano; Orsolini, Arnautovic.

👉 Lineup ATALANTA (3-4-2-1): Musso; Scalvini, Demiral, Djimsiti; Hateboer, De Roon, Freuler, G. Pezzella; Koopmeiners, Pessina; Muriel.

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Lazio, 5th position with 49 points and a positive goal difference of +16
AS Roma, 6th position with 48 points and a positive goal difference of +12

Roma win the Derby della Capitale claiming the bragging rights to rule in Rome, but also remain within the European Zone.  Undoubtedly, Roma won convincingly the Serie A Week 30 game crushing Lazio on Sunday 20 March 2022 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy.   A great match and the fast goal by English forward Tammy Abraham in the 1st minute fueled Roma to dominate, then, another goal. Tammy Abraham has now scored 15 Serie A goals this season, equalling his best top-flight league tally for Chelsea in 2019-20. In the next round, Roma will play the away game against Sampdoria and Lazio will host Sassuolo.

Roma remain unbeaten at home against Lazio in Serie A since 30 April 2017 (3-1 biancoceleste starring Keita, author of a brace); since then, three wins and a draw.  Roma kept clean sheets for two consecutive home derbies (after last year’s 2-0) for the first time since 2011 (three in a row then).

Roma opened the score with a fast goal in the 1st minute. It is English forward Tammy Abraham to defeat Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha from very close range with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner following a corner conceded by Francesco Acerbi.

So much inspiration!  Tammy Abraham just scored a brace in the 22nd minute.  It seems the “Derby della Capitale” already has a protagonist. Abrahm scored again from very close range with a right-footed shot to the top left corner. The assist is by Rick Karsdorp.

✅ Stats before the game. After the 3-2 victory in the first leg, Lazio could find success for two matches in a row against Roma in Serie A for the first time since November 2012 (three in a row in that case, straddling the management by Edoardo Reja and that of Vladimir Petkovic).  Lazio have won two of the last three Rome derbies in Serie A (1L): the same number of successes obtained in the previous 15; however, the biancocelesti have not found the three points in the last two matches against the Giallorossi played in the second round of the top flight (1D, 1L).   Roma are unbeaten in eight league games (4W, 4D) and could avoid defeat for multiple consecutive games within a single Serie A season for the first time since May 2019 (in the last nine games of 2018/19, with Claudio Ranieri on the bench).  Maurizio Sarri could become the first Lazio manager to win his first two Rome Derby in Serie A since Sven-Göran Eriksson in 1997/98, while José Mourinho the first Giallorossi coach to lose his first two from Luis Enrique in 2011 / 12.

👉Lineup AS Roma (3-4-2-1): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Karsdorp, Cristante, Oliveira, Zalewski; Pellegrini; Mkhitaryan, Abraham.

👉Lineup Lazio (4-3-3): Strakosha; Hysaj, Luiz Felipe, Acerbi, Marusic; Milinkovic, Leiva, Luis Alberto; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Pedro.

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Sampdoria, 16th position with 26 points and a negative goal difference of -14
Venezia, 19th position with 22 points and a negative goal difference of -27

Venezia lost the Serie A Week 30 game against Sampdoria on Sunday 20 March 2022 at the Pier Luigi Penzo Stadium in Venice, Italy.  This defeat is just a blow for Venezia’s dream and the relegation to Serie B is closer.  The victory is a boost for Sampdoria with three key points for the salvation race. In the next round, Venezia will play their last hopes for a breakthrough at La Spezia while Sampdoria will host Roma. Venezia remained with 10 players since the 86th minute after the expulsion of Henry getting a double yellow card.

Four defeats in a row for Venezia, which has not reached four in Serie A since March 2002 (in that case, two under the guidance of Giuseppe Iachini and two of Alfredo Magni).
Venezia conceded goals from 11 consecutive home games; in its history in Serie A, only once has the Venetian team recorded a longer streak without clean sheets at home: 12 between March 1950 and November 1961.

Sampdoria opened the score in the 24th minute.  It is Francesco Caputo to defeat Venezia goalkeeper with a right-footed shot to the center.  The assist is by Abdelhamid Sabiri.

Problems for Venezia seeing their dream for salvation vanishing…  Sampdoria increased the score in the 38th minute.  The hero again is Francesco Caputo with a brace this time from close range with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner.

✅ Stats before the game. Venezia have only won two of the 11 Serie A matches against Sampdoria, both in 1962 (2-0 in both March and December); after last December’s 1-1 draw, these two teams could impact both seasonal games of a single top league for the first time in the competition.  Venezia and Sampdoria have not faced each other at the home of the lagoons in Serie A since November 29, 1998, a match that ended in a white goal draw; the last home defeat of the Venetians against the Sampdoria in the competition dates back to 16 October 1949, on one of the two occasions in which they collected at least seven goals in a home match (3-7).  Sampdoria have not lost in seven consecutive Serie A matches (4W, 3D) against newly promoted teams: this is for the Sampdoria the longest streak without defeats against opponents from the cadet tournament in the competition since September 2015 (11 in that case).

👉 Lineup Venezia (4-3-3): Mäenpää; Ebuhei, Caldara, Ceccaroni, Haps; Fiordilino, Ampadu; Aramu, Okereke, Nani; Henry.

👉 Sampdoria (4-3-1-2): Audero; Bereszynski, Ferrari, Colley, Murru; Candreva, Ekdal, Thorsby; Sensi, Sabiri; Caputo.

👉 Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Juventus, 4th with 56 points and a positive goal difference of +19
Salernitana, 20th position with 16 points and a negative goal difference of -41

Juventus keeping up the race for a spot in Champions League next season.  Juventus win the Serie A Week 30 game defeating Salernitana on Sunday 20 March 2022 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy. Juventus win for the fourth consecutive time and reach 59 points just minus one point from Inter third with 60 points: the gap from Napoli second (-4) and Milan first (-7) remains unchanged. Salernitana, on the other hand, remains anchored in last place with 16 points, 9 less than Cagliari, first among the teams outside the relegation zone. This is a tough defeat for Salernitana remaining in the last position and their dream for salvation is just a mirage.
In the next round, Juventus will challenge Inter, with the aim of overtaking the Nerazzurri in third place. Salernitana, on the other hand, will have to face it at home Torino.

Juventus are unbeaten in 32 Serie A matches against teams that start the championship day in the last three positions in the standings (28W, 4D); the last defeat dates back to 8 May 2016: 1-2 against Verona (last in the standings), in which Viviani and Luca Toni went on the net for the yellow and blue, in the last match of his career.

Juventus opened the score in the 5th minute. Forward Paulo Dybala defeated Salernitana goalkeeper Luigi Sepe with a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Dušan Vlahović.

Juventus increased the score for the 2-0 in the 29th minute. Forward Dušan Vlahović from very close range with a headed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Mattia De Sciglio.

Stats before the game. Juventus have conceded only one goal in five matches against Salernitana in Serie A: that of Marco Di Vaio, on May 2, 1999, who gave the Campania region their only success against the Old Lady in the top flight – three victories complete the picture. of the bianconeri and a draw.  Juventus have won both home games against Salernitana in Serie A, with an overall score of 5-0; among the opponents against whom they have not yet conceded a goal in home matches, only against Crotone did the bianconeri have a better overall score (9-0 in three matches).  This season Juventus lost at the Stadium against Empoli (0-1 on 28 August); in its history, the HCL team has never collected two home defeats against newly-promoted teams in the course of a single Italian top league.

👉 Lineup Juventus (4-4-2): Szczesny; De Sciglio, Chiellini,. De Ligt, Pellegrini; Cuadrado, Arthur, Danilo, Rabiot; Vlahovic, Dybala.

👉 Lineup Salernitana (4-4-2): Sepe; Mazzocchi, Gyomber, Fazio, Ruggeri; Zortea, Radovanovic, L.Coulibaly, Perotti; Djuic, Bonazzoli.

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Empoli, 13th position with 32 points and a negative goal difference of -14
Hellas Verona, 10th position with 41 points and a positive goal difference of +8

Empoli and Hellas Verona ended the Serie A Week 30 game with a draw on Sunday 30 March 2022 at the Carlo Castellani Stadium in Empoli, Italy.   A point each that changes little in the standings of the two teams. In the next round, Empoli will face Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi, while Verona will host Genoa. Verona wasted the chance to take the lead after Giovanni Simeone failed to convert a penalty.

Verona conceded goals from 19 consecutive Serie A away games – in their history in the competition, the Venetians have only twice recorded a longer external streak without a clean sheet: 22 between 1992 and 1997 and 19 between 2000 and 2001.

Empoli opened the score in the 26th minute. It is Francesco Caputo to defeat Hellas Verona goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Andrea Pinamonti.

Hellas Verona equalized for the 1-1 in the 71st minute. It is Matteo Cancellieri to defeat Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario with a left-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Nicolò Casale.

✅   Stats before the game.  In the nine precedents between Empoli and Verona in Serie A, the balance sheet is in perfect balance thanks to four wins on each side and only one draw (0-0, on 6 January 2015). After a 2-1 win in the first leg last November, Verona could win both of their league games against Empoli for the first time, considering both Serie A and Serie B. Empoli are unbeaten at home against Verona in Serie A, thanks to three wins and a draw in four crossings, and have never conceded a goal in these matches; in fact, the Venetian team is the team that the Tuscans have faced several times in home matches, always keeping a clean sheet in the competition. With the defeat against Milan last Saturday, Empoli have reached 12 consecutive games without wins in Serie A: Empoli have not recorded a longer streak without a win in the competition since November 2003 (14), while to find a series of this type within a single season you have to go back to March 1999 (15). After the 0-0 against Genoa and the 0-1 against Milan, Empoli risks running out of goals for three consecutive Serie A matches for the first time since March 2017, when Giovanni Martusciello sat on the Tuscan bench.

👉Lineup EMPOLI (4-3-2-1): Vicario; Fiamozzi, Romagnoli, Viti, Parisi; Zurkowski, Asllani, Bandinelli; Bajrami, Di Francesco; Pinamonti

👉Lineup HELLAS VERONA (3-4-2-1): Montipò; Coppola, Günter, Casale; Sutalo, Hongla, Bessa, Tameze; Barak, Caprari; Simeone
