Juventus – loans:#TalentTrack: Loanees under stronger spotlight

Juve’s players on loan come under greater coverage than ever with a new section of the website especially dedicated to the club’s #TalentTrack stars

http://www.juventus.com/media/images/news-images/grafiche/talent-track-week-5.variant310x172.jpg

For those supporters looking to follow their stars who are temporarily outside Turin, they need look no further than a brand new feature of Juventus.com, namely a section dedicated exclusively to the 56 Bianconeri out on loan at clubs ranging between Serie B (17), Lega Pro (14) a first (14) or second (6) division in Europe, or in Serie A (5).

The list includes players like Marcel Buchel, who yesterday put Empoli 2-0 up away to Fiorentina with a brilliant left-footed strike (the visitors would end up having to settle for a 2-2 draw) or Ouasim Bouy, who played an important role in PEC Zwolle’s 5-0 rout of Roda.

Bouy provided a perfect assist, a 50-metre cross-field ball to Stefan Nijland, whose goal capped off a significant victory for the Dutch outfit that has now risen to seventh place in the Eredivisie and a playoff berth for Europa League qualification.

Born in Amsterdam, the 22-year-old of Moroccan origin is a product of Ajax’s youth academy and can be deployed either in the centre or on the left side of midfield. After playing for the Primavera in Vinovo, he made his mark with Brescia, scoring a goal on his debut against Spezia as well as amassing five assists before a knee injury led to a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

After completing his road to recovery at Juventus Center, Bouy set off for Bundesliga-outfit Hamburg in January 2014, then featured more regularly with Panathinaikos, before making a return home to Holland by switching to Zwolle, with whom he scored the winning goal against Willem II at the start of October.

For Buchel, meanwhile, yesterday’s strike against Fiorentina was his second in Serie A after last month’s stunner against Roma – proof that the midfielder is rising in stature since recent loan stints at Virtus Lanciano and last season’s successful promotion campaign with Bologna.

Also worthy of mention from this weekend’s action is Leonardo Spinazzola’s impressive performance in Perugia’s 4-0 demolition of Brescia. Following experiences on both wings during loan spells with Empoli, Siena and Vicenza among other sides, the 22-year-old is emerging as a fine operator at full-back this term with the Umbrian club.

Juventus:Champions League build-up intensifies, Monday 23 November 2015

Strategy comes to the fore as Massimiliano Allegri’s men undergo an intense morning workout in Vinovo. Hernanes sidelined for approximately three weeks

After commencing their preparations for Wednesday’s Champions League Group D clash with Manchester City yesterday, the Bianconeri were back on the training ground this morning to work on the strategy to be adopted against the Citizens at Juventus Stadium.

With top spot in the group still firmly in Juve’s sights, Massimiliano Allegri left nothing down to chance during an intense workout in which technical drills were teamed with tactical scenarios.

Missing out again was Hernanes, who underwent tests to ascertain the exact nature of the problem picked up during last weekend’s meeting with Milan. These revealed a first-grade tear in the adductor longus muscle in the midfielder’s right thigh. He is expected to be out of action for approximately three weeks.

Tomorrow will see the Bianconeri undergo their final session in Vinovo at 15.15 CET, the first 15 minutes of which is open to the media. This is to be followed by Allegri and Claudio Marchisio’s Juventus Stadium press conference at 18.30.

Elsewhere, City will conduct their final preparations on home soil in the morning before Manuel Pellegrini and a Blues player chat to journalists in Turin from 19.15 onwards.
