Hello my friends. It’s Tuesday morning and the party is all for Juventus. Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Tuesday 10 March 2015. I woke up very energetic and enjoying reading the newspapers while having my big cup of coffee. How are you? Are you heading to work, school? staying home?
Main headline today is about Juventus defeating Sassuolo to reach 61 points having now a +11 points ahead of AS Roma holding the second position with 50 points. I agree that Juventus are just now on a solo flight to collect the Scudetto. Hero of the victory is midfielder Paul Pogba the scorer of the only goal and enough to secure the victory.
Headlines also for Lazio who defeated Fiorentina with a poker 4-0. Lazio overtaking the 3rd position sending Napoli down to the 4th position for the goal difference as both have 46 points.
And guess what? what! There is a headline grabbing my attention and is the return of coach Zdenek Zeman to Cagliari!!!!!! Yep. Zeman will attempt to save Cagliari and is a good bye to coach Gianfranco Zola…..

=============== Italian Serie A Tickets for next 10 games
Hello my friends. Here are the Serie A RESULTS for Week 26 on Saturday 7, Sunday 8, and Monday 9 March 2015. We have 2 upset this week. First one is AS Roma failing to defeat Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium ending with a 0-0 draw. Why is this an upset? Well, it is an upset because Roma were supposed to win to keep up the race for the Scudetto alive with Juventus. Roma having 50 points and Juventus reaching 61 points after defeating Sassuolo thanks to the goal by midfielder Paul Pogba for the 1-0. Come on guys, by now,,, it seems the Scudetto belongs to Juventus unless a total miracle happen….
Three games on Sunday ended with a 0-0 result: Cesena 0 – 0 Palermo, Parma 0 – 0 Atalanta, and Chievo Verona 0 – 0 AS Roma.
The other upset is the hilarious draw in San Siro. Yep, AC Milan 2 – 2 Hellas Verona. Milan were winning 2-1 up to the 94th minute when BAM, voila’ … Verona equalizing to grab a point and shattering Milan’s dream to reach towards the European Zone. A total disappointment with this poor Milan clearly forgot how to win games consistently.
A highlight this week is the first goal of forward Samuel Eto’o as a Sampdoria player in the 72nd minute. Game ending Sampdorida 2 – 0 Cagliari.
Parma 0 – 0 Atalanta. Finally, Parma playing a game after 2 postponed games. Sadly, the match for Parma ended with a goalless draw and still remain in the 20th position.
Big clash Napoli vs Inter ending with a clamorous 2-2. An electrifying game seeing the “Argentinians from both teams” battling until the end. However, it is Inter to have the better performance seeing both Argentinian forwards Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi scoring to equalize the score. For Napoli, it is Argentinian forward to score for the 2nd goal …. not enough…
Big upset! Napoli losing the 3rd position because Lazio defeated Fiorentina with a 4-0. Lazio now reaching 46 points just like Napoli, but for goal difference Lazio having +20 and Napoli +13, then, it is Lazio to grab the 3rd position .
The top scorer up to Round 25: Juventus forward Carlos Tevez and Inter forward Mauro Icardi with 15 goals each.
Top Serie A teams standing AFTER Serie A Week 26 games. First 3 qualifying for Champions League, 4 and 5 for Europa League.
–Juventus, 61 position with points and a positive goal difference of +39
–AS Roma, 2nd position with 50 points and a positive goal difference of +19
–Lazio, 3rd positions with 46 points points and a positive goal difference of +20
– Napoli, 4th position with 46 points and a positive goal difference of +13
–Fiorentina, 5th position with 42 points and a positive goal difference of +9
Relegation Zone: Cagliari, 18th position with 20 points and a negative goal difference of -17 – Cesena, 19th position with 20 points and a negative goal difference of -23
Parma, 20th position with 11 points and a negative goal difference of -27
Hello my friends. It’s Monday morning and chaos continue for AC Milan. Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Monday 9 March 2015. Grab your cup of coffee or tea and let’s talk about it.
Headlines indicating there is still hope for Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi. For the moment, Milan President Silvio Berlusconi is giving Inzaghi another chance before making the final decision to sack him. Oh well, your take? Should Inzaghi be sacked now and who can replace him? Should Inzaghi stay?
I like the headline on Napoli – Inter.. it really was total madness. I must say, it was a tough lesson to Napoli. Inter managed to survive and not gave up until ruining Napoli’s party. Imagine, Inter equalized in the 87th minute with forward Mauro Icardi converting a penalty.
I agree with the headline about Roma coach Rudi Garcia upset with the team. Hello, come on, hello, Roma had the time to win the game against Chievo but played bad and Juventus could be +11 points ahead if they defeat today Sassuolo. Simply put, Roma had wasted many chances to shorten the gap.

Napoli failing big time to shorten the distance with AS Roma . Napoli had the victory up to the 87th minute when Inter changed the movie script to equalize the score. It’s almost an all Argentinian duel match with Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain vs Inter forwards Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi …. plus Napoli Argentinian goalkeeper Mariano Andujar too….
The first half ending 0-0.
It seems Napoli coach Rafael Benitez delivered a strong pep talk during half time. Napoli returning to dominate Inter. In the 51st minute with medifielder Marek Hamsik defeating Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic with a headed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by defender Henrique. It’s the 5th goal this season by Hamsik.
Far from Inter reacting, there it is Napoli again. Second goal of the match in the 63rd minute with forward Gonzalo Higuain defeating goalkeeper Handanovic with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner. Guess who did the assist? Yep… Marek Hamsik! Surely, the constant support from the fans at the San Paolo Stadium is motivating the players to claim the victory. It’s the 13th goal for Higuain in this season.
Talking about reaction, Inter shortening the distance in the 72nd minute. It is forward Rodrigo Palacio to give hope to the nerazzurri. Palacio defeating Napoli goalkeeper Mariano Andujar with a right footed shot in the center. The assist is by midfielder Fredy Guarin.
Whats happening to Napoli? Losing control,…. referee Rocchi giving a penalty to Inter. Penalty conceded by Napoli defender Henrique after a foul on forward Rodrigo Palacio. This is the second yellow card to Henrique making it an automatic Red Card…. Napoli remaining with 10 players. It is Argentinian forward Mauro Icardi to convert the penalty defeating goalkeeper Andujar with the classic “Cucchaio”. It’s the 15th goal by Icardi this season.
Here is NAPOLI official starting lineup by coach Rafael Benitez:
Napoli (4-2-3-1): Andujar; Henrique, Albiol, Koulibaly, Strinić; Inler, David López; Callejón, Hamšík, Mertens; Higuaín.
Here is INTER official starting lineup by coach Roberto Mancini:
Inter (4-3-1-2): Handanović; D’Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, Santon; Guarin, Medel, Brozović; Shaqiri; Palacio, Icardi.
