It’s over.  What else can Milan do to reach the European zone?  Practically, its a good bye to Europe for next season.   It seems AC Milan are just experiencing a deep fall and forgot how to win games.    Milan winning only 8 games this season compared to 7 lost and 10 draws.   Milan had the victory until the 94th minute when Verona silenced the entire San Siro to equalize the score for the final 2-2.

Surprise, surprise in San Siro!   Hellas Verona taking the lead.  Things startig bad for Milan as Referee Giacomelli  gives a penalty to Verona conceded by Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari after a foul on defender Artur Ionitas.    It is forward Luca Toni to convert the penalty with a right footed shot defeating Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez in the center.  It’s the 11th goal in the season by Toni.

It’s penalty time.    Yep, Referee Giacomelli giving a penalty to AC Milan conceded by Verona defender Ionitas after a foul on Milan defender Philippe Mexes.  Ironically, Ionitas protagonist of both goals now.   It is Milan forward Jeremy Menez to equalize the score converting the penalty with  a right footed shot defeating Verona goalkeeper Francesco Benussi in the center….

A redemption moment for the Rossoneri.   Milan returning in the second half at high speed.  It is defender Philippe Mexes to take care of business and breaked  the draw.   In the 47th minute,  Mexes defeating goalkeeper Benussi with a right footed shot.  Action is dubious as seems it was an own goal by Tachtsidis….

Referee Giacomelli sent off Hellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini in the 91st minute for too much protesting….

And this is why players should play until the referee whistles the end of the game!!!!!  Incredible so, Hellas Verona silenced San Siro as Nico Lopez equalizes the score in the 94th minute!!!!!   Verona taking away 1 point to upset Milan.   Lopez also getting a yellow card for over celebrating, but you bet, fans are not sad at all.   Verona players surrounding Lopez to celebrate.

Previously, there are 24 precedents between AC Milan vs Hellas Verona showing 15 wins for Milan and 9 draws.  Verona have not defeated Milan in San Siro and this might be the first time.   Fact is that Milan is only a shadow this season.
