This win marked a significant turnaround for Roma, who had been struggling with three matches without a win or a goal (1 draw, 2 losses) prior to this match. In addition, the Giallorossi have impressively kept a clean sheet in their last two encounters with the Biancocelesti in this league. This achievement also marks the first time since 1967 that they have recorded three consecutive clean sheets against Lazio. The action unfolded in the first half, with Roma taking the lead thanks to goals from Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini and Saelemakers, followed by a second half focused on defense. Meanwhile, Lazio struggled to find their footing and couldn’t mount a comeback.
