Manchester City faces Al Hilal Riyadh in the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16 on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, USA. The winner will advance to the Quarterfinals on Friday, July 4, at the same venue.

Manchester City is maintaining their impressive form, having defeated Juventus, Al Ain, WAC Casablanca, Fulham, and Bournemouth. They will be looking to continue their winning streak with a victory over Al Hilal Riyadh.

Conversely, after a win against Pachuca, Al Hilal Riyadh enters this match eager to build on their success, just like their opponents. Al Hilal aims to extend their unbeaten streak to eight matches.

Bayern Munich beat Flamengo with a 4-2 in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Hard Rock Stadium located in Miami, Florida, USA.  This win earned Bayern Munich a spot in the Quarterfinals, where they will compete in an all-European matchup against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday, 5 July at the Mercedez Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

An own goal by Erick Pulgar set the tone for Bayern in the 6th minute. Leon Goretzka also found the net for the German team.  Flamengo, showing defensive weaknesses, managed to cut the deficit twice through Gerson and Jorginho.
Flamengo 0 – 1 Bayern.

Just three minutes later, in the 9th minute, Harry Kane extended the lead with a left-footed shot from outside the box that found the center of the goal.  The assist was by Dayot Upamecano.

Flamengo responded in the 33rd minute, with Gerson scoring a left-footed shot from the center of the box into the high center of the goal, assisted by Giorgian de Arrascaeta.

However, Bayern quickly regained their two-goal advantage in the 41st minute. Goretzka took advantage of the space left by Flamengo’s defense and fired a shot from outside the box past goalkeeper Agustin Rossi.

In the 55th minute, Jorginho successfully converted a penalty with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner.  The penalty awarded after Michael Olise committed a handball in the penalty area.

Bayern remained resilient and found the net again in the 73rd minute. Harry Kane sealed the victory with a right-footed shot from the center of the box into the bottom right corner.  The assistance was by Joshua Kimmich.

Before the game …

Flamengo comes into this match following their recent draw with Los Angeles FC last Tuesday during the FIFA Club World Cup Group stage, extending their unbeaten run to ten games. The Brazilian powerhouse secured their spot in the knockout round after just two matches, thanks to a commanding 2-0 win against the Tunisian team Espérance, followed by an exciting 3-1 victory over Chelsea FC.

FC Bayern München kicked off the tournament with an impressive 10-0 win against Auckland City FC. The German team faced a challenge in a thrilling match against Boca Juniors, but they managed to secure a late 2-1 win. Unfortunately, their Group C journey ended on a sour note with a 1-0 defeat to SL Benfica, finishing second in the group.

Paris Saint Germain defeated Inter Miami in the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16 on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, USA.  João Neves netted two goals as Paris Saint-Germain decisively defeated Inter Miami 4-0, securing their spot in the Club World Cup quarterfinals. The Champions League champions continue their journey toward the quarterfinals, where they will take on Bayern Munich on Saturday, July 5, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

PSG established their dominance just six minutes into the match, with Neves finding space at the far post to powerfully head in a precise free kick. Neves extended PSG’s advantage in the 39th minute after a well-coordinated attack featuring Bradley Barcola and Fabián Ruiz, whose brilliant cross was expertly finished by the Portuguese player.

Sadly, the MLS side Inter Miami showed no signs of mounting a comeback. Even Lionel Messi was unable to turn the tide for the team. Their troubles worsened when Tomás Avilés scored an own goal, followed by Achraf Hakimi adding a fourth just before halftime.

Before the game …

The European champions, Paris Saint-Germain, recently triumphed over Seattle Sounders, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Reims, Auxerre, Montpellier, and Arsenal, and they are eager to maintain their winning streak. With four consecutive clean sheets, their defensive play has been impressive.

Inter Miami comes into this match following a draw against Palmeiras last Monday, having gone six matches without a loss. They secured their place in the knockout stage by finishing as runners-up in Group A, with goalkeeper Oscar Ustari earning a point in their initial 0-0 draw against Al Ahly, and Lionel Messi’s signature free kick clinching a comeback victory over Porto.
