Portugal qualifying for the UEFA EURO 2016 Final after defeating Wales in the Semifinal on Wednesday 6 July 2016 at the Stade de Lyon in Lyon, France. Portugal will play the final on Sunday 10 July against the winner of the match Germany vs France.
- Cristiano Ronaldo opening the score for Portugal setting the way to qualify for the UEFA EURO Final. In the 50th minute, Ronaldo scoring following a corner with a superb headed shot jumping higher than Wales defender James Chester for the goal delighting the fans with his traditional celebration. Nothing to do for goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey just seeing the ball passing to the top right corner. The assist was by Raphael Guerreiro.
- Cristiano Ronaldo being a key player provides the assist for the second goal in the 53rd minute. Ronaldo passing to Nani scoring the goal with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.
