The big flop of the round is Juventus failing to win the Serie A Week 2 game against promoted Serie B team Empoli at the Allianz Stadium. It’s the new era without Cristiano Ronaldo who transferred to Manchester United. On the other hand, it is a memorable game for Empoli not only scoring an away Serie A goal against Juventus for the first time since January 2006 (Sergio Almirón), but also stopping a five-games run without a single goal on the road against Juventus.
