Napoli won the Derby del Sole defeating Roma. The party is all for Napoli conquering the Olimpico and keeping the first position reaching 29 points thanks to the goal by Victor Osimhen. Roma never finished towards the goal during the entire game and overall produced too little to create dangers for Napoli.  In the next round, Roma will play the away game against Hellas Verona, while Napoli will play the home game against Sassuolo.

Juventus crushed Empoli at the Allianz Stadium. Juventus for the first time this season, managed to win two games in a row. Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot’s brace complete the poker against Empoli. The quality and experience, which came out at a distance, allowed the Juventus players to seal the game and take home three deserved points on their sprint to climb the Standings.

Salernitana defeated Spezia at the Arechi Stadium.   The highlight of the match is  Franck Ribéry emotional farewell.  Salernitana makes a leap in the standings reaching 13 points. Spezia remains at 9 points but out of the relegation zone. After more than 100 minutes, a match that sees the home team take home the victory thanks to Mazzocchi’s great goal at the beginning of the second half ends. Goalkeeper Dragowski protagonist with two great interventions.

AC Milan crushed Monza at the San Siro Stadium.  The victory helps Milan reach 26 points to keep up the race for the Scudetto with Napoli. In the second half, Origi with a great shot from the edge of the area, Ranocchia shortens the distance on a free kick in the 70th minute, Rafael Leão enters as a sub and scores with an assist from Hernandez.  In the next round, Milan, an away match on the Turin field, Monza will play at home against Bologna.

Inter beat Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.  The fifth defeat in the league for Fiorentina. A thriller game, 7 goals in one game. Inter with a fast goal in the 2nd minute with Nicolò Barella, then, 15 ‘Lautaro Martínez. Fiorentina reacts and shortened the distance with Cabral converting a penalty.  In the second half, the Viola continues to attack and finds the equalizer in the 60 ‘with Jonathan Ikoné. Inter took back the lead in the 73rd minute again with Lautaro.  At 90 ‘Fiorentina is again equal with Jovic.  The final cherry on top of the ice cream arrives in the 95th minute with the goal by Mkhitaryan.

Atalanta collapsed against Lazio at the Gewiss Stadium.  A sour defeat because Atalanta stepped down from the 2nd to the 4th position.  Three points that bring Lazio to 24, hooking Atalanta in third place. Mattia Zaccagni and Felipe Anderson, one by half, score for the Biancocelesti.  Lazio stopped Atalanta who were unbeaten in nine of their last 10 matches against Lazio in Serie A (4W, 5D).

Sampdoria win their first game this season conquering the Zini Stadium after defeating Cremonese.   Sour defeat because Cremonese had the chance to score though Dessers missing the penalty in the first half.  The party is for Sampdoria to see the light at the end of the tunnel for salvation thanks to the goal by Colley.  The victory helped Sampdoria to climb from the 20th to the 18th position while Cremonese stepped down to the last position. This is the first win for Sampdoria this season.

Sassuolo overturned the result and defeated Hellas Verona at the Mapei Stadium. Sassuolo returned to victory after two consecutive defeats. Hellas Verona went down from the 18th to the 19th position remaining in the relegation zone. Dionisi’s team recovered Ceccherini’s initial goal. The match is decided by the goal number four in the league of a motivated Davide Frattesi, good at taking advantage of Traorè’s suggestion inside the penalty area. Sampdoria, 20th  position with 3 points and a negative goal difference of -13
Cremonese, 19th position with 4 points and a negative goal difference of -12

Cremonese lost the Serie A Week 11 game against Sampdoria on Monday 24 October 2022 at the Giovanni Zini Stadium in Cremona, Italy. Sampdoria win their first game this season conquering the Zini Stadium. Sad for Cremonese still without victory.

Things started bad for Cremonese. Referee Fabio Maresca gave a penalty to Cremonese. The cold shower arrived in the 7th minute when  Cyriel Dessers failed to convert the penalty because Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero saved it in the center.  The penalty is conceded by Bruno Amione after a foul on David Okereke.

Sampdoria opened the score in the 78th minute. Omar Colley defeated Cremonese goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi from very close range with a left-footed shot to the center. The headed assist is by Manolo Gabbiadini.

✅   Stats before the game: Sampdoria remained unbeaten in 11 of the 12 matches against Cremonese in Serie A (6W, 5D), obtaining six clean sheets – including the one in the most recent match on January 28, 1996 (2-0 by the Sampdoria at Ferraris). In five of the six matches between Cremonese and Sampdoria at the home of the grigiorossi in Serie A at least one of the two teams did not score (one home win, three draws and two away wins); including 0-0 in the most recent one on September 10, 1995.  Cremonese may not win any of its first 11 Serie A matches of the season for the first time in its history; considering the first 10 matches, only in 1995/96 previously he had not achieved any success in the tournament (4N, 6P in 2022/23). Cremonese have lost their last two games at Zini in the league: the grigiorossi have never recorded three home defeats in a row in Serie A.
