🟡🔵 Hellas Veron 0 – 1 Sassuolo  ⚫️🟢

Hellas Verona was defeated by Sassuolo at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium. After a strong first half, Verona encountered their second consecutive loss. Sassuolo secured three crucial points with a penalty from Andrea Pinamonti, which was first saved by Montipò but then followed up by the same Neroverdi striker scoring in the 71st minute. Grosso’s team celebrated their second straight victory, while Verona continues to face challenges.

⚪️🔵  Lazio  3 – 3 Torino 🐂

Lazio and Torino concluded in a draw at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. Most notably, it ended with Cataldi’s penalty, making it 3-3 in the 103rd minute, followed by his emotional celebration, fitting for a captain, as he kissed his chest and made a tentative run under the Nordbahnhof. This was a significant game for Coach Maurizio Sarri, marking his 300th match, as he faced off against former player Baroni, who received a chant of honor from the Curva.

🟡🔵  Parma 0 – 1 Lecce 🟡🔴

Lecce achieved their first victory of the season by defeating Parma at the Ennio Tardini Stadium. They secured their first three crucial points in the standings, allowing Eusebio Di Francesco’s squad to equal Parma with 5 points. However, Cuesta’s team was held to a draw after their initial win against Torino. Lecce’s victory came from a goal by Riccardo Sottil in the 38th minute. The former AC Milan and Fiorentina player netted the winning goal with a cross-shot that caught goalkeeper Suzuki off guard. Sottil scored with a right-footed shot from long distance, placing it in the bottom right corner. He was assisted by Antonino Gallo.

⚫️🔵  Inter 4 – 1 Cremonese   🩶❤️

Inter outplayed Cremonese  at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. Inter has now reached 12 points, while Cremonese remains at 9 points. This is Inter’s fifth consecutive victory across the league and cup. The Nerazzurri dominated the match for most of the time, breaking the deadlock early with a goal from Lautaro Martínez. Additional goals from Ange-Yoan Bonny, Federico Dimarco, and Nicolò Barella confirmed the win. Cremonese did score a late goal through Federico Bonazzoli in the 87th minute. Next, the Nerazzurri will visit Roma, while Cremonese will take on Udinese at home.

⚫️🔵  Atalanta 1 – 1 Como  ⚪️🔵

Atalanta and Como finished in a tie at the New Balance Stadium.  Goals from Lazar Samardzic for Atalanta and Maximo Perrone for Como in the 6th and 19th minutes, respectively. This challenging match between the Lombardy teams concluded in the 94th minute, resulting in a draw that holds significant value for Como, securing a vital point in a tough environment.  Atalanta, now with 10 points, falls to 6th place, while Como moves to 8th place with 9 points. Juric and Fabregas’s squads will face Lazio and Juventus, respectively, in the upcoming matchday.

⚪️⚫️   Udinese 1 – 1 Cagliari  🔴🔵

Udinese and Cagliari ended in a draw at the Bluenergy Stadium. Genoa took the lead with a goal from Gennaro Borrelli in the 25th minute. Udinese equalized in the second half with a strike from Christian Kabasele in the 58th minute. Runjaic’s team certainly appeared to be the more dominant side, particularly in the second half, with Nicolò Zaniolo and Bayo coming close to scoring on multiple occasions. Ultimately, the final score was 1-1, resulting in one point for each team. In the next match, Udinese will play against Cremonese, while Cagliari will take on Bologna.

🔴🔵  Bologna 4 – 0 Pisa  🔵

Bologna showcased their skills with a master class performance, defeating Pisa at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium. This result is undoubtedly a total humiliation for Pisa, who conceded 4 goals without managing to score even a consolation goal. In the league standings, Bologna rises to 10 points, now level with the European zone. Unfortunately, Pisa remains at the bottom with only 2 points. After the break, matches between Pisa-Verona and Cagliari-Bologna took place. Pisa was down to 10 players since the 36th minute when Idrissa Touré received a red card. Bologna’s goals came from Nicolò Cambiaghi, Nikola Moro, Riccardo Orsolini, and Jens Jens Odgaard, resulting in a 4-0 victory, a true poker!

  ⚜️ Fiorentina 1 – 2 AS Roma  🟡🔴

Fiorentina failed to secure a victory in their home match at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. Roma triumphed with a score of 2-1.  Goals from Matìas Soulé in the 22nd minute and Bryan Cristante in the 30th minute.  They overturned Moise Kean’s early goal in the 14th minute. Today, Romas has achieved its first three away wins of a league season for the fourth time in its history.  That is, following the seasons of 1991/92, 2013/14, and 2017/18. We could say that it’s not the best time for Stefano Pioli, who has now faced a third home defeat and is still in search of his first league victory. Fiorentina, with only 3 points so far, has dropped to the 17th position. After the international break, Pioli will be at San Siro to take on Milan on Sunday, October 19.  Gasperini will host Inter at the Olimpico on Saturday, October 18.

 🔵  Napoli 2 – 1 Genoa 🔴⚫️

Napoli continues to defend their title securing a victory at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. The situation was tense as Napoli came from behind to defeat Genoa 2-1. Genoa initially took the lead in the 33rd minute with a back-heel goal from Ekhator. However, in the second half, Anguissa equalized with a header in the 57th minute, and Hojlund sealed the win in the 75th minute after a save from Leali. Unfortunately, Lobotka and Politano sustained injuries. With this win, Napoli reaches 15 points and climbs to the top position. In their upcoming league match, Napoli will travel to Torino, while Genoa will host Parma.

⚪️⚫️  Juventus 0 – 0 AC Milan  🔴⚫️

The match between Juventus and Milan concluded with a score of 0-0. Massimiliano Allegri, making his first appearance at the Stadium as an opponent, had reasons to worry about Christian Pulisic’s missed penalty. Milan squandered at least two opportunities that Leao (who replaced Gimenez) was unable to finish. Tudor’s squad, fresh off a Champions League draw against Villarreal, nearly found the net early in the second half, with Gatti being thwarted by a remarkable save from Maignan.

🔴⚫️ AC Milan 2 – 1 Napoli 🔵

AC Milan triumphed over Napoli with a score of 2-1 at San Siro. It was a tough loss for Conte’s Napoli, marking their first league defeat of the season, which puts them level on points with Roma at the top of the table with 12 points. The match was exciting, starting with a goal from Alexis Saelemaekers in the third minute, assisted by Christian Pulisic, who then extended the lead in the 31st minute with a brilliant first-time touch from Fofana. In the second half, Milan found themselves down to 10 men beginning in the 57th minute when Pervis Estupiñan fouled Giovanni Di Lorenzo just as he was about to score from a Maignan save following McTominay’s header, and Kevin De Bruyne successfully converted the penalty three minutes later.

⚪️🔵  Como 1 – 1 Cremonese  🩶❤️

Como and Cremonese concluded with a 1-1 tie at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium. The home team took the lead in the 32nd minute when Nico Paz scored with an assist from Rodriguez. In response, Baschirotto equalized in the 69th minute by heading in a corner from Vazquez. Rodriguez received a red card in the 82nd minute, and Sergi Roberto suffered an injury.

⚪️⚫️ Juventus 1 – 1 Atalanta ⚫️🔵

Juventus was unable to secure a victory in their home match against Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium. This marks Juventus’s second consecutive draw, keeping their unbeaten streak intact alongside Atalanta. Atalanta took the lead just before halftime with a goal from Sulemana, but the Bianconeri turned things around with 12 minutes left, as Cabal scored his first Serie A goal shortly after replacing the injured Bremer. De Roon received a red card at the end of the match.

🔴🔵 Cagliari 0 – 2 Inter ⚫️🔵

Cagliari faced a defeat at the Unipol Domus. Inter, seeing a glimmer of hope, secured this away victory. After their home win against Sassuolo, Inter continues their winning streak, closing the gap to the top position by overcoming Cagliari.  Inter gained two points against Juventus in the standings, bringing their total to nine points. Cagliari remains at seven points. In the upcoming round, Cagliari will travel to Udinese, while Inter will welcome Cremonese.

⚫️🟢 Sassuolo 3 – 1 Udinese ⚪️⚫️

Sassuolo secured their second victory of the season, bringing their points total to six and placing them in 12th position, awaiting the outcomes of this Sunday’s Serie A matches. Udinese faced their second straight league loss, allowing three goals against Milan. The Bianconeri remain at seven points and drop to 10th in the standings.

🔵  Pisa 0 – 0  Fiorentina  ⚜️

The Tuscan Derby concludes with a scoreless tie. Both Pisa and Fiorentina are still searching for their first victory in the league. Pisa currently has two points, while Fiorentina has three. During the first half, M’Bala Nzola strikes the crossbar and Moise Kean takes a shot. Kean finds the net twice in the second half, but is repeatedly flagged offside. Henrik Meister manages to break the stalemate, but VAR disallows the goal due to a handball. Juan Cuadrado also attempts a shot, but it strikes the post. The upcoming round includes Bologna-Pisa and Fiorentina-Roma.

🟡🔴  AS Roma 2 – 0 Hellas Verona  🟡🔵

Roma defeated Hellas Verona at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. Gasperini’s team is highly motivated after defeating Zanetti’s squad. Goals were scored by Artem Dovbyk in the 7th minute of the first half and Matìas Soulé in the 79th minute of the second half. The Giallorossi have moved up to two points in the standings, keeping the competition tight with Napoli and AC Milan.

🟡🔴  Lecce 2 – 2 Bologna  🔴🔵

Eusebio Di Francesco’s squad secured their second point of the season, marking their first at home, as they drew with Genoa, Parma, and Pisa while they await the end of Matchday 5. Bologna, on the other hand, now stands alongside Cagliari and Udinese with seven points, just one behind Como. Lecce, who struck the woodwork three times during the game, truly deserved a draw, which felt like a setback for Bologna, who were celebrating their third victory of the season. Francesco Camarda’s inaugural Serie A goal brought Lecce a point, as they shocked Bologna with mere seconds remaining. Bologna turned around Lassana Coulibaly’s early goal with a penalty from Riccardo Orsolini and a shot from Odgaard, which was deflected into the net by Tiago Gabriel. Next, Lecce will head to Parma, while Bologna will take on Pisa at the Dall’Ara after their Europa League match against Freiburg on Thursday.

🔴🔵 Genoa 0 – 3 Lazio ⚪️🔵

Genoa faced a tough loss in their Serie A Week 5 home match at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. On the bright side, Lazio managed to bounce back, leaving behind their defeat from last week’s Derby della Capitale. Maurizio Sarri’s squad triumphed at the “Ferraris” stadium, securing a 3-0 victory over Genoa with goals from Matteo Cancellieri, Valentín Castellanos, and Mattia Zaccagni.

🟡🔵  Parma 2 – 1 Torino  🐂

Parma triumphed over Torino at the Ennio Tardini Stadium. It was a fantastic win for Parma as they climbed to 5 points in the standings, while Torino remained at 4. After a dull first half, where Parma took the lead with a penalty from Pellegrino, the second half saw an increase in intensity, with Torino quickly equalizing thanks to Cyril Ngonge. The Emilian team responded by regaining the lead with a header from Mateo Pellegrino, ultimately securing the win. In the upcoming round, the Emilian team will face Lecce at home, while Torino will travel to Lazio.
