Hello my friends. Here are the Serie A RESULTS for Week 26 on Saturday 7, Sunday 8, and Monday 9 March 2015.   We have 2 upset this week.  First one is AS Roma failing to defeat Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium ending with a 0-0 draw.  Why is this an upset?  Well, it is an upset because Roma were supposed to win to keep up the race for the Scudetto alive with Juventus.     Roma having 50 points and Juventus reaching 61 points after defeating Sassuolo thanks to the goal by midfielder Paul Pogba for the 1-0.  Come on guys, by now,,, it seems the Scudetto belongs to Juventus unless a total miracle happen….

Three games on Sunday ended with a 0-0 result: Cesena 0 – 0 Palermo, Parma 0 – 0 Atalanta, and Chievo Verona 0 – 0 AS Roma.

The other upset is the hilarious draw in San Siro.  Yep, AC Milan 2 – 2 Hellas Verona.  Milan were winning 2-1 up to the 94th minute when BAM, voila’ … Verona equalizing to grab a point and shattering Milan’s dream to reach towards the European Zone.  A total disappointment with this poor Milan clearly forgot how to win games consistently.

A highlight this week is the first goal of forward Samuel Eto’o as a Sampdoria player in the 72nd minute.  Game ending Sampdorida 2 – 0 Cagliari.

Parma 0 – 0 Atalanta.   Finally, Parma playing a game after 2 postponed games.  Sadly, the match for Parma ended with a goalless draw and still remain in the 20th position.

Big clash Napoli vs Inter ending with a clamorous 2-2.   An electrifying game seeing the “Argentinians from both teams” battling until the end.  However, it is Inter to have the better performance seeing both Argentinian forwards  Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi scoring to equalize the score.   For Napoli, it is Argentinian forward to score for the 2nd goal …. not enough…

Big upset!   Napoli losing the 3rd position because Lazio defeated Fiorentina with a 4-0.  Lazio now reaching 46 points just like Napoli, but for goal difference Lazio having +20 and Napoli +13, then, it is Lazio to grab the 3rd position .

The top scorer up to Round 25: Juventus forward Carlos Tevez and Inter forward Mauro Icardi  with 15 goals each.

Hello my friends.   Good morning, grab your cup of Coffee.   Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Saturday 7 March 2015.

Main headline is about the emergency money given to Parma.   As seen in Corriere dello Sport headline, La Lega giving 5 millions to Parma.  Yet, not everybody is happy.  What? Hum? Really? Yep… Imagine,, headline also saying that Cesena are not really happy with the decision and refer to the league now as a distorted tournament.  Bottom line, Parma (who are in the 20th position) will play on Sunday against Atalanta at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.

My favorite headline is about Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi and Cagliari Coach Gianfranco Zola both under pressure and their future might be defined today… Why?  Well, hello, hello.. Milan (11th position) playing against Hellas Verona in San Siro  while Cagliari (18th position) playing against Sampdoria at the Ferraris.   The objective is to win.. but can they do it?  Will they be sacked if losing their respective games?  Play the drums………
