Italian Soccer Serie A

Cagliari Calcio announces the purchase of the right of the footballer Alessandro Tripaldelli who moves from Sassuolo on a permanent basis: the young defender has signed a contract until 30 June 2023.  The announcement was made on Thursday 17 September 2020.

Tripaldelli was born in 1999, he grew up in the Juventus youth teams, in the summer of 2018 he moved to Sassuolo, to then start the season on loan at Pec Zwolle, a team of the Dutch top division. In January 2019, he returned to Italy to continue his maturation path with Crotone in B and, last season, in Serie A among the ranks of the neroverdi.

As reported by Cagliari official website, Tripaldelli is a staple of the youth national teams starting from the Under 16, he took part last year in the Under 20 World Cup – closed by the Azzurrini in fourth place – deployed in all seven matches. He has so far made 3 appearances with the Under 21 shirt.

Great race, speed, good technical qualities: Tripaldelli is a left-handed winger who plays full-fledged, asserting himself both in the push phase, with precise crosses from the bottom for the attackers, and in containment. A young man of absolute interest, heir to the great tradition of Italian left-backs.

Welcome to Sardinia, Alessandro!
