Edin, a night to remember, I guess…
“Yes, it was just fantastic from the first minute to the last. We played great against a top side and I believe that in the end we deserved the win.”

How did it feel to score today and celebrate with the fans in the Olimpico?
“It’s a fantastic feeling. It was just pure emotion, so much emotion in one goal. I had been waiting for my first goal in Serie A and it happened today. So I’m happy for myself, the team and the fans. I believe we all deserved this victory today.”

What did you make of the team’s performance?
“I think we were prepared well by the manager who asked us to go for it from the first minute and press high. We did a good job and had to work hard for the win.”

Today’s win came courtesy of two Bosnians, you and Pjanic…
“I think we all know how good Mire is. He’s one of the most important players in the team and I don’t think the goal he scored is anything new for us or the fans. We already knew he could score this type of goal and he can do even better. I’m happy we’re in the same team.”

How do you see Roma’s league season after this victory?
“It was just the second game of the season and it will be a very long campaign. I think the most important thing is to beat Frosinone. If we don’t beat them, the three points we earned  tonight will be for nothing.”
