AS Roma can confirm the sale of forward Mattia Destro to Serie A side Bologna.
Destro, who joined Roma in 2012, has been sold to the Rossoblu for a fee of €6,5 million
Roma published a financial press release today that explained the transfer fee could rise by an additional €5 million, of which two million is guaranteed following the player’s first appearance in a league or cup competition. The remaining amount is made up of add-ons related to sporting and transfer market clauses triggered by Bologna or the player.
Destro, 24, made his Giallorossi debut under Zdenek Zeman on September 2 in the 3-1 away victory over Inter. His first goal for the club came on November 4, 2012, when he struck the fourth in the 4-1 home win against Palermo in the league.
During his time at Roma, Destro scored 29 goals in 68 appearances in all competitions.
