Franck Ribery will travel to Murnau hospital in Germany today with Fiorentina club doctor Luca Pengue and physiotherapist Simone Michelassi ahead of an operation on his right ankle tomorrow. The operation will be carried out by Professor Johannes Gabel.

Once the operation is complete, Fiorentina will provide further information on Ribery’s condition and the timeframe for his return to action.
