Any regrets? “We gave our all against a top-quality side – a draw isn’t a bad result.”
Gomez? “He’s improving and can do even better for the team. He’s got the ability to do very well.”
Wasted chances? “I’m happy with the way the team played and the desire we showed.”
Second-half struggles? “Perhaps we were fatigued mentally – it’s tough to keep up that intensity for 90 minutes.”
Joaquin? “Joaquin had a great game and worked hard for the team. We need to keep our game short to be at our best.”
Is it better to have a goalscorer or a player who stretches the defence? “Well, the best thing would be to have both those qualities in one player. Luckily, we have many players who can play in several positions.” ]]>
