Commisso Field unveiled in New York

A new sports pitch named after Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso was unveiled on Saturday afternoon at Mount Saint Michael Academy in New York, where Commisso was a student from 1963 to 1967.

Commisso Field – a multi-purpose pitch where soccer, football, and lacrosse are played – is part of a new sports complex made possible by the support of Commisso.

Commisso’s loyalty to his old school in the Bronx runs deep. He already sponsors annual educational scholarships and was back there this weekend to attend the grand opening of their new sports complex and the Commisso Field, which represents another way in which he invests in youth.
