UEFA, MILAN TOP ITALIAN SIDE

MILAN – The UEFA rankings (click here for a full breakdown) is the only official European ranking which follows all clubs over a five year period. The results speak loud and clear: AC Milan is the top Italian club.
During a period in which Italian football struggles on a continental level, Italy’s flag continues to fly high thanks to the Rossoneri, the top Italian side according to the UEFA rankings.
Milan were the only Italian side in the Final 16 of the Champions League 213-2014 (and the team which knocked them out are still in the competition at the semi-final stage) and are ranked 11th overall, the top Italian side.As things stand, Italy has a coefficient of 66,772 points thanks in no small part to Milan’s contribution of 98,534 points.
Inter are in 13th place, Juventus in 17th, Napoli in 31st, Lazio in 41st, Fiorentina st 45th, Roma at 55th, Udinese at 77th, Palermo at 97th, Genoa at 102th, and Sampdoria at 108th.
