TRAINING AT 14.30

(IN THE PHOTO: Kakà and Zapata at work with the obstacles)MILANELLO – Coach Allegri’s side got back to work yesterday at 15.00 at the Milanello sports centre ahead of this Sunday’s match Sassuolo-Milan.It was also the first training session for Keisuke Honda with his new team-mates after his official presentation at the San Siro yesterday at 12.30. Zapata took part in the entire session with the rest of the group.The squad started the session with a warm-up on the lowered pitch at Milanello. After some stretching, the squad was divided into groups for some fitness work.-The first group, which included Honda, Kakà and Zapata, took part in sprinting drills over the full length of the pitch and then some running drills with obstacles.-The second group with Balotelli, Pazzini, Rami and Silvestre, did sprints over 60 metres at a high intensity.-The third group which included Saponara and Poli also did sprints over 60 metres but at a reduced intensity with respects to the second group.Zaccardo and Tamas also did sprints.Individuals: Birsa worked on the central pitch at Milanello and also did running drills over 100, 200 and 400 metres.Club captain Riccardo Montolivo and Ignazio Abate worked alone in the gym on personalised training programs.The squad will train again today at 14.30 to prepare for their next match with Sassuolo.
