Focusing on Empoli, the Tuscans will be without the suspended Leandro Paredes for the visit of the Rossoneri and go into the match after a 1-1 draw with Chievo in the previous round.

Empoli are among the 7 teams in Serie A to have won more points on the road than at home: 13 at the Castellani and 18 away from home. The other sides that adhere to this trend are: Juventus, Inter, Chievo, Udinese, Bologna and Verona.
