MILAN – AC Milan communicates that M’Baye Niang underwent a specialised visit with Professor Niek Van Dijk in Amsterdam today who established that a ligament tear of the left ankle will require surgery. The operation will be performed by Professofr Van Dijk on Friday.

Professor Van Dijk also carried out a clinical and radiographic check-up on Rodrigo Ely. The player will undergo a rehabilitation programme over the next two weeks that will return him to playing fitness.
