MILAN – Please see below the words of midfielder Sulley Muntari who was speaking exclusively to the Milan Channel after last night’s match with Roma.Commenting on the match with the Giallorossi he said: "Roma are very strong, but in the end we drew. We need to continue along this path. We need to try and win every match. If we’re unable to do so, then that’s football. We’ll do our best to always get the three points.”Speaking about the Rossoneri’s ability to never give up Muntari added: “We’ve got plenty of heart and determination. We give everything on the pitch and in training. When you do things well, then things start going your way. We need to have confidence. I always try and help the team. I try to contribute in the best possible way. The main thing is that the team does well. Roma are a great side but we could have done even better. In attack and with the final pass. We’re on the right track though. Clearly we need to improve, but we’re on the right track.”The midfielder also added this about the derby with Inter: “The derby will be important, and we need to do well to finish the year strongly. I’m a Milan player now, the past is behind me. I’m happy inside and when I take to the pitch for Milan I only want to do well. The coach is always there for us and the coaching staff are incredible. Together we need to do our best in the derby.”Looking ahead to Milan’s next opponents in the Champions League, Muntari was clear with his words: “Atletico Madrid are a tough side and I know them well. In the past few years they’ve done really well. Their coach is determined and his squad reflect that. He’s a great coach, who has passed on his mentality to his players. They’re achieving great things in Spain, they’re first in the table and in Europe as well. They're very strong and technical. They will be dangerous, but from now until February we want to prepare as well as possible and give our all in those two matches.”
