INZAGHI’S COMMENTS AHEAD OF FINAL: “the players are focused on the match”

MILAN – This is what the Milan Primavera coach Filippo Inzaghi had to say yesterday to Sky Sport 24 ahead of today’s Viareggio Tournament final at 15.00 against Anderlecht: "My players are achieving great things. After the semi-final match the players sang the chant that the Milan fans used to dedicate to me and this moved me. I can see that the players are focused on the match. Let’s hope for the best because Anderlecht are a strong side. I watched their match against Palermo, Belgian football is on the up. Sooner or later I know I will have to leave these lads, but better to do so later.”Coach Inzaghi then added the following: "Following Galliani’s phone-call, I also received one from Clarence Seedorf to congratulate us on reaching the final. I’ve always had a great relationship with him. He was an excellent team-mate. When Seedorf doesn’t select Cristante and Petagna, he lets us use them for our Primavera side and I thank-him for this. I hope that he can take this club to the heights that it deserves in the next two and a half years, starting with Wednesday’s match against Atletico Madrid. For Milan fans the Champions League is of vital significance. I’m cheering Seedorf and his team on to success. Milan is in my heart. I’m thinking about my job, my players, our season and the Viareggio Tournament final".
