First AC Milan training of the 26/27 season on Monday, 13 July 2026

AC Milan commenced their pre-season for 2026-27 on Monday, July 13, at the Milanello Sports Centre. The day started with the arrival of the squad and routine physical assessments in the morning, followed by the inaugural outdoor training session led by new Head Coach Rúben Amorim. The Rossoneri are aiming for a rebuild this season after missing out on the UEFA Champions League. Instead, Milan will be participating in the UEFA Europa League.

According to the official AC Milan website, the open training session took place on the outdoor pitch starting at 18:00 CEST. Fans had their first opportunity to see the squad in action.  Amorim’s 26-Man squad included several key first-team players and new signings, such as Mario Gila (recently transferred from Lazio), Yunus Musah, Samuel Chukwueze, Fikayo Tomori, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The squad gathered, although not at full capacity due to FIFA World Cup obligations. AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan and midfielder Adrien Rabiot are currently competing in the World Cup Semifinal with the French team. Meanwhile, Gonçalo Ramos and Rafael Leão have been granted extended breaks and are anticipated to join the team later.
