FIORIN CONFIDENT PLAYERS MOTIVATED FOR FINAL PUSH

MILANO – Caretaker Primavera coach Fulvio Fiorin spoke to Milan Channel ahead of tomorrow’s Torneo Dossena semi-final against Cremonese,

“It would great to have a Milanese derby in the final. The lads are motivated and aim to play well to make it to the final in such an important tournament. It is emotional to be the Primavera coach and even though Pippo Inzaghi is not here we are continuing the work he laid down to finish the season in the best way possible. We have a few absences: Piccinocchi and Benedicic have not recovered yet, Barisic and Tamas are on International duty and Claveria picked up an injury. This is the right moment to bring some players through. I have always been a Milanista and have been part of the club since ’91, and I think I deserve my chance. Making it to the first team is a dream come true. I hope I can repay the faith Pippo and the club have shown in me. I coached Darmian in the Allievi Regionali, where he struggled physically but had enormous skill and was tactically intelligent. I am happy for him because he confirmed the idea he could have made it. Milan have gone down the road of bringing through their own players and the fans should be patient. Finally, I’d like to say goodbye to Danova, he was a trully special person.”
