It is the second game for AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf and failing the objective to win it. Udinese eliminate Milan causing an upset at the San Siro Stadium. This is a major blow for Milan, it was their more realistic way to get to the Europa League considering their bad standing in Serie A. Udinese will play the Coppa Italia Semifinal against the winner of the game Fiorentina – AC Siena.
It was not enough for AC Milan opening the score in the 7th minute with forward Mario Balotelli. Udinese equalizing the score in the 41st minute with forward Luis Muriel converting a penalty conceded by midfielder Urby Emanuelson by bringing down defender Silvan Widmer. Emanuelson gets a yellow card.
The moment of redemption for Udinese and chaos for Milan arrives in the 77th minute. Yep, it is Udinese forward Nicolas Lopez to score the winner goal silencing the Rossoneri fans in San Siro.
