Inter win the Milan Derby not only claiming the bragging rights to rule the City of Milan, but also win the Coppa Italia Quarterfinals  defeating AC Milan on Tuesday 26 January 2021 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy.  It is Christian Eriksen to score the winner goal in the 97th minute.   Inter eliminated ACMilan and qualified for the Coppa Italia Semifinals.

Before the game:  Inter and AC Milan will be meeting in the Coppa Italia for the 25th time.  Stats showing:  AC Milan 10 wins, 7 draws, and Inter 7 wins.   The last five games between the two teams in the Coppa Italia all took place at the quarter-final stage:  AC Milan progressed in 1998 (a 5-1 aggregate win) and 2017, while Inter emerged victorious in the two-legged tie in 2000.

Fikayo Tomori making his debut as as AC Milan player in the 20th minute after the forced substitution replacing Simon Kjaer for injury.

It is AC Milan to open the score in the 31st minute. Forward Zlatan Ibrahimović with a brilliant goal defeats Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanović controlling the ball to deliver a right footed shot all the way to the bottom left corner. A superb goal!

In the 80th minute, Referee Paolo Valeri injured is replaced by the Fourth Official Chiffi.

Inter overturned the result and scored the winner goal in the 97th minute with Christian Eriksen delivering a right footed free kick shot.
