MILAN – Two days ahead of Sunday’s match at the San Siro between Milan and Juventus at 20.45. Juve booked their place in the next round of the Europa League last night against Trabzonspor and will face Fiorentina in the Final 16.
Riccardo Montolivo meanwhile spoke to the Gazzetta deelo Sport yesterday. Here’s some of what the Milan captain had to say: “My first match as captain was against the Bianconeri and it was one of the best days of my life. Seedorf? He’s a very communicative coach and dialogue is very important to him. The match against Juventus? We can play a big game and cause them problems”.
Adel Taarabt also spoke to the press. Here’s what he had to say to the Corriere dello Sport: “I’m ready to continue to surprise with this jersey and I won’t miss this big chance. My football hero was always Zidane. Milan-Juventus was one of those matches that I always liked to watch on TV. It’ll be a great game”.
Tuttosport spoke to Adil Rami: “I want to become a better player with Seedorf. Against Juventus, we’ll have to work so much and believe in ourselves to win. Football in Italy is different to the game played elsewhere. We always play to win”.
Rami also spoke to the Corriere della Sera: "I’m the same as I’ve always been since I arrived at the club. Work hard, try to be polite and I have faith in my destiny. Football will bring you up and knock you down before bringing you back up again”.
Taarabt to Repubblica: “Things are good with Seedorf, there’s a lot of dialogue. He told me “I’ll judge you on what you do from now on and I’m not interested in what people say about you. I won’t allow your level to drop.”
Riccardo Montolivo also spoke to Il Giornale: "We need a special night against Juventus to the confidence it would bring as well as for the league table. Milan are on the way back and if we miss the Champions League for a season, it’s not the end of the world”
