BALOTELLI SPEAKS TO THE MILAN CHANNEL: “I’m calm and relaxed”

MILANELLO – This is what Mario Balotelli had to say in an exclusive interview to the Milan Channel ahead of the Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid tomorrow:“I’m calm and relaxed. It’s an important match and there are a lot of emotions, but they need to be kept under control and channeled in the right way. I wasn’t available last year and I want to help the team. It’s great to play in these kind of matches. For the atmosphere and for the stadium. You get other sources of inspiration that perhaps you wouldn’t in others and this is motivating. The fans have to help us. I often say it but it’s horrible playing in empty stadiums, but I understand the fans. In my opinion the San Siro should always be full like tomorrow. I’m waiting for El Shaarawy here at the club, but also for the Italian national team at the World Cup. I went to visit him and I care about him. He’s a friend. I hope that he can come back soon. The ability to move into space is more dangerous than a shot from outside the area. It’s team play and can be more dangerous to the opposition.”
