MILAN – After scoring the winner versus Inter tonight at the San Nicola Trophy, Andrea Poli gave an exclusive interview to the Milan Channel:

“I am happy to have got my name on the score-sheet. Winning is always good for the team and I am pleased with the manner in which we played today.
We cannot hide the fact we’re coming off the back of two disappointing matches versus Atalanta and Juventus, but we now have all of the international players back, we’re close to having a full squad again and we cannot forget that not so long ago we won three matches in a row. On Saturday we have to do everything to win versus Sampdoria. There is no other option. We know we can play better technically and we must and have to make that happen. Despite the last two results, the team spirit and the rapport with the coach is still strong.”
