AC Milan announce that Zlatan Ibrahimović has renewed his contract with the Club until June 30, 2021.  The original announcement was made on Saturday 29 August and officially signed on Monday 31 August 2020.  Ibrahimović re-joined his teammates and coach Stefano Pioli at Milanello Sports Center, where he took part in his first training session of the season.

Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic  joined AC Milan in 2010 making 85 appearances and scored 56 goals during a stint which also yielded one Scudetto and one Supercoppa.

Ibrahimović returned to AC Milan in January this year and contributed significantly to AC Milan’s return to Europe, netting 11 goals in 20 matches, reaching the 100 appearances milestone with AC Milan.

AC Milan ended the 2019-2020 Season in the 6th position with 66 points qualifying to play in the UEFA Europa League 2020-2021 Season.
