AC Milan Captain Riccardo Montolivo visiting Casa Milan  pleasing the fans by signing autographs and taking photos on Thursday 3 July 2014.

Montolivo on his recovery issue declaring, “I’m a little bit better, it’s a long process, one month has passed since the operation. Mid-July we’ll analyze the situation with the surgeon but I don’t think that I’ll be able to return before November. I’ve heard from some of my team-mates, they’re all really charged, we’re all pulling in the same direction and we want to take Milan where it belongs cancelling out last season”.

“When a World Cup campaign goes that badly, like it did 4 years ago in South Africa, the fault lies with everybody. I’m sorry for Prandelli who did really well, but we weren’t able to do in Brazil what we prepared for. We’ll see what the Association decide for the future, they will certainly choose a prepared and expert coach. I’ve spoken to some of my team-mates following the World Cup, but I don’t know what happened in Brazil. We know Mario, his contribution wasn’t missing, the blame lies with everyone, probably we expected more based on his qualities but Mario isn’t a young boy anymore and I think that he has to take responsibility like he’s doing.

Inzaghi? I can’t wait to start, I spoke to him today also. I’ve noted that he’s ready in all aspects, I believe that he has the right ideas and right energy to get Milan back on track. It’s his first proper experience, but we’re all behind him”.

“Goodbye and best wishes to Kakà, probably the best decision was taken, but let’s hope that he comes to visit us soon.

Seedorf? We didn’t find the right harmony and it’s right that President Berlusconi and the club made the decision for the good of Milan. The club is doing everything possible to give Inzaghi the best squad possible. I don’t know what is the area of the team that needs reinforcing the most, if there are opportunities in the transfer market, they will be taken.

Tassotti? Mauri is Milan, he has red and black DNA, he’s a person that helps you understand how important the club is, a person that gives you so much and I’m really happy that he’s stayed”.
