The semifinals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 showcase an extraordinary lineup of four past champions: Argentina, England, France, and Spain. Amazingly, this is only the third occasion in World Cup history where the final four teams are all former titleholders.

These nations boast an impressive total of seven World Cup trophies:

🇦🇷    Argentina: 3 titles (1978, 1986, 2022)
🇫🇷    France: 2 titles (1998, 2018)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿    England: 1 title (1966)
🇪🇸    Spain: 1 title (2010)

It’s so exciting to see six Serie A players advancing to the World Cup semi-finals.   Four of them are part of the French National team, while two represent Argentina.  Of course, we’ll be keeping an eye on how they perform and wish them all the luck. Regardless of the outcome, we congratulate them for reaching this far.

🇫🇷   The French squad includes AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan and midfielder Adrien Rabiot, along with AS Roma midfielder Manu Kone and Inter forward Marcus Thuram.

🇦🇷    On the Argentine side, they have Inter forward Lautaro Martinez and Como forward Nico Paz.

There are no Serie A players in the squads of either  🇪🇸   Spain or 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿   England.
