Hello guys. I had made a bet with one of my visitors for a Pizza dinner. Azzan, who is a strong Inter fan, and I made this bet during the Serie A Week 11 match, Juventus 1 – 3 Inter on Saturday 3 November 2012. Here is the thing. For this particular game, my prediction was for Juventus while Azzan bet for Inter.
Say no more. A historical defeat for Juventus losing their unbeaten record for the last 49 games and a historical victory for Inter defeating Juventus in their own Juventus Arena with a smacking performance. No excuses. Inter won fair and square even if Juventus had 51% ball possession and Inter 49%. Point blank, Inter made their comeback while Juventus succumbed in front of their fans. Thumbs up for Inter forward Diego Milito scoring two goals too. In the 59th minute, Milito converting a penalty conceded by Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio.
It’s always a joy to share with my visitors and meet them in person too. I am including the photos to set the record straight. Great Pizza…. Buon Appetito! Congrats to all Inter fans for this important victory shortening the gap for the race of the Scudetto. Stats after the game keep Juventus in the 1st position with 28 points and a positive goal difference of +15. Inter in the 2nd position with 27 points and a positive goal difference of +12.
Next Pizza or Starbucks bet will be for the Milan Derby ????
