Vincenzo Montella spoke to reporters in the press room at the Stadio Franchi earlier today. This is what he said:

Are Roma a stronger side?
“I don’t know. They certainly have a top-quality squad with some excellent options on the bench. I don’t see a huge difference between us and them. We’ve lost whenever we’ve met them recently but always played very well. We’re in for a great game. We’ll need to be especially careful in dealing with the specific threats they pose.”

Can Roma still believe in the title?
“They’ve had a fantastic season. They play as a team and read the game so well during the course of the match. Juventus are still almost unbeatable though.”

Will Matri start?
“We’ll see tomorrow.”

What has Garcia brought to Roma?
“His methods. He has the whole squad on his side: everyone gives their all and feels involved.”

How do you stop Gervinho?
“There’s not a lot you can do. We’ll try to cut out his supply line and double up on him when he has the ball.”
